Destination for Everything!
Right after the pandemic when travel opened up again, everyone’s wanderlust kicked in. What people didn’t realize is that a complete cross-migration began and that was driven by the youth.
The Youth had money and now
the Youth control the new stock market. The new stock markets whether you like
it or not are un-regulated. This new stock-market is where the global
cash-flows are stockpiled.
This new stock-market is
called Cryptocurrency! - This is your reality!
Reasons why all this happened do not matter! What we need to look at is the here and the now and what is the best option for you and your family to live in for the future.
Here I am going to present you
a running comparison between the United Arab Emirates and Kingdom of Thailand. In both of these countries I have followed their
systems and understood the differences between these two countries.
The reason is that UAE is considered to be an icon for the Middle-East & Thailand because like Malaysia, Indonesia & Philippines have never been directly engaged in the Global politics of the world and survived whatever Global Democracy has tried to infiltrate into their systems and are honest to their customs, cultures & respective religions. that was up until 2017
In 2017 (new archives do not lie) The UAE & Saudi Arabia saw a shift of the Balance of power when the State of Qatar many prominent acquisitions Internationally such as Harrods. Qatar Airways achieving 7 star status and a threat to their main revenue from their respective flag carriers all ties were stressed to the point that the state of Qatar had virtually no fly space allocations for its airline.
Eventually things got resolved and it all went un-noticed but after that is when the Emirates also got more confident supported by Saudi Arabia and expressed an interest in external affairs especially in the countries of Pakistan & India
Ever since then there was a rapid decline in the affordability factors as far as living in Dubai is concerned! The Saudis were in the middle of an infinite Hi-Tech city but now that too is an insignificant bit of reality of a dream abandoned again???
STRATEGICALLY!
UAE – is NOT really a commercial
port for trading. It is a Travel Hub that is where their focus has been on
Tourism and Travel & The development of an impressive infrastructure build
to impress.
THAILAND - in a fraction of
the same money developed the same and is a commercial hub for not only Air
Travel with its National Flag Carrier Thai Airways but also has deep water
ports access that is already retro-fitted to handle large scale container
shipping. Strategically it is a very
safe & politically correct warm water port for the entire far-east.
ECONOMICALLY
UAE
People have seen many
financial crises happen in UAE – Social Media also displays abandoned luxury
cars – The UAE is very unaffordable both financially and emotionally as well to
survive in. Tax-Free is no longer applicable and forget your Cost of Goods Sold
– your Cost of living is unaffordable for the elite also right now.
Also, if Dubai is doing so
well and is so amazing as an investment opportunity that is not to be missed
then why are the advertising on all the social media channels in Thailand for
foreigners to come to Dubai and invest their money! – Actually, its please come
Back to Dubai, (Quite honestly!) – Monet talks & Wealth whispers, (Example)
– Mercedes Advertises Luxury, Rolls Royce maintains silence with Class and you
cannot buy that anywhere!
Further to that UAE is
heavily influenced with its close affiliation to Saudi Arabia and its
involvement in Global Middle-East & South East Asian politics is now
affecting its entire economy!
In the middle-east it’s a rented
life where you own nothing! You come, you go! And that’s it! Next person please!
THAILAND
Has had a friendly
relationship with everyone on the planet!
Their beliefs are simple and for a fraction of the amount you have ready
access to each and every amenity be it commercial, personal & professional.
Like the UAE there are your
social-media hustlers that do imp[roper work on retirement visas and yes
company openings can be a problem, however one must understand that this happens
globally every where and a lot in the UAE also! Why because more applicants –
more problems! That’s it!
The country has displayed a
steady growth on all its infrastructure and rather than re-investing to impress
they have used the money from Travel and Tourism to develop an amazing
infrastructure for agriculture, commerce & production industry as well as information
technology!
The Thai people are honest
to their jobs and if entrusted with a project, they might right now the conception
skills however, their ability to meet deadlines on massive real-estate projects
is flawless. Their honesty to their work is instilled in their culture
The Thai people believe in
a cash-based life simple – they do not understand the complexities of economic
politics and refuse to be involved in taking or giving credit to anyone!
If you follow the proper
process with the country and approach Thailand’s Board of Investment – through its
website – www.BOI.go.th – you would be surprised
as to how simple everything is.
The government is friendly
and yes they will also get you translators to assist you in your native
language! The BOI website is in Thai and English.
Now going the honest simpler & cheaper Government way, or through some random person on social media advertised solution provider is up to you!
CULTURALLY
Thailand is exactly like
Amsterdam totally liberal, the difference here you can roam around in
flip-flops and shorts – in Amsterdam you need a snow jacket! (Great weather all
year round)
The predominant religion is
Buddhism with Islam as the second most followed religion of choice!
It is a humble culture far
different from all the others because in Hinduism you have a God for everything.
The Christians, had their crusades and inquisitions, Us Muslims we are in a
state of Jihad perpetually.
Buddhism is all about infinite
love and the struggle for perpetual peace and mindfulness of others – Buddhism
is an awareness of the reality of the here and the now before you!
Buddhism is all about
accepting your own part in everything and understanding is separate, realizing
where you can better your own self because your time here is only temporary. So we should use to it to do good for
everyone around us in every way!
I do not state that all other
religions are bad! No! If you go through the Holy Quran, or if you Go through
the New or Old testament of the Bible – even the Gita – none of them preach any
form of conflict – all the religions in this world have one common factor and
this God is Universal & God is Love everything else is man-made politics!
IS IT RIGHT FOR YOU?
I have done immigration
consulting for the longest period of time and my only advice is visit the
country! Do not keep the mindset of a tourist!
You had your fun! Do your research! Write down your questions! Email the Bord of Investment directly! Ask
them to connect you with an accredited law firm you can afford (if you can
afford one) or guide you how to do things yourself directly!
No Jokes! You really don’t
need anybody! A simple Google Translate
app for a few physical conversations and to scan and convert documents to help
you with translation.
There is a cost attached to everything! What you can afford you will gat much
value anywhere globally!
Once you are done with
everything and the Board of Investment is sorted! When you come here to Thailand make sure you
come only for business!
Keep all your agendas away
from you! You are talking about your
life! Do not mix Business with Pleasure! You can party all your life! You cannot buy
time back!
Thailand has the most flexible
visa policies to suit every need and they are all affordable. Thailand has the largest youth Crypto
population! – Why not come down and invest in a growing economy now!
